Noah's Throne, a nonprofit organization in Honolulu that is committed to providing safe shelter for LGBT homeless youth, aged 16-25. We at Noah's Throne are dedicated to providing a safe haven for young people, but we need your help.
The LGBT youth in our community have frequently been kicked out of their homes or otherwise forced out of abusive living situations because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. We know that LGBT youth are at an increased risk for drug abuse, mental health problems, suicide and that homelessness is another factor that contributes to these poor outcomes. At our shelter for homeless LGBT youth, we will have a safe place to call home and feel accepted as a person.
Noah's Throne is determined to be a resource in the community for the countless homeless LGBT youth, but we need your help! We are hosting a cocktail party fundraiser, raffles and auctions held all night with the grand prize of the night will be a diamond. The people of Oahu are clearly eager to see this project succeed. We have gained support of several local business and community leaders, as well as hundreds of individuals. We ask that you join us and your neighbors as we make this important resource a reality for Oahu's young people.
